Noted flaw(s) — photographed above: ASE MASTER MECHANIC TEST NOTES & FLAWS NOTED DURING TESTING: (1 - RUNNING ENGINE TEST NOTES): Engine runs good. It starts right up, idle is nice and smooth, and wide open throttle snap sounds good. The oil quality looks good and there is no smoke from tail pipes (steam in video is just because it is really cold outside). There are no unusual noise from operating engine other than what sounds like some turbocharger waste gate rattle; (2 - POST REMOVAL INSPECTION NOTES): Engine overall looks good. I noted oil weeping around valve cover so may need gasket replaced soon. Main seals look dry. The turbocharger does have a little waste gate play,b ut the turbine has very little radial or axial play.

Out-of-car inspection: ENGINE LOOKS GOOD OUT OF CAR. NOTED OIL WEEPING AROUND VALVE COVER SO MAY NEED GASKET SOON. MAIN SEALS LOOK DRY. TURBO DOES HAVE A LITTLE WASTE GATE PLAY, BUT TURBINE HAS VERY LITTLE RADIAL OR AXIAL PLAY.
