Every part is inspected before it’s listed. Engine and transmission assemblies are tested — and engine internals like cylinder heads, crankshafts, camshafts, and pistons inspected — by a certified ASE Master Mechanic. We want you getting a quality part the first time.

Changed your mind? Wrong part? Just didn’t work out? For eligible lower-48 + DC orders, send it back within 90 days for any reason — and we pay the return shipping, even on freight items. Just grab your prepaid return label — it’s self-service and instant; on freight, message us and we coordinate the pickup too.

The Viking Warranty — plain English, no gotchas

Every part includes a FREE 90-day warranty from the day your part is delivered, on top of the 90-day any-reason return window. This isn’t a “find a reason to deny it” warranty: if a part we sold doesn’t do its job, we make it right — replacement first if we have one, otherwise a full refund. No restocking fees, ever.

The warranty covers the part only, never labor, installation, towing, or consequential costs. On a covered failure for an eligible lower-48 + DC order, the warrantied item must be returned to us; we cover return shipping, then provide a like-kind quality replacement first when available or a full refund under our warranty terms.

Want longer coverage?

Extended warranties are available on any part. Choose your coverage in the cart before checkout:

  • 180-day total coverage — add 8% of the part price (minimum $20)
  • 365-day total coverage — add 15% of the part price (minimum $40)

What the warranty covers

  • The part failing to perform its job in normal use, installed correctly on the right vehicle
  • Anything we got wrong — wrong part, not as described, defective on arrival. For eligible lower-48 + DC orders, that’s on us: we fix it including shipping both ways, period

Fitment checks are for factory/OEM configurations only — upgrades, retrofits, and custom applications may need extra parts or coding we can’t verify or guarantee.

What we ask of you (the fair part)

  • Install it properly — professional installation is strongly recommended on engines, transmissions, and electronics
  • Some electronic, lighting, safety, key, and module parts may require dealer or specialty European auto shop programming, coding, or a relearn procedure after installation
  • Engines & transmissions: install with new fluids, filters, seals and gaskets as applicable, and fix whatever killed the original unit (a cooked engine’s radiator will cook the next one too)
  • If something seems wrong, stop driving and contact us — continued operation after a known problem turns a warranty claim into a paperweight

What it doesn’t cover

  • Damage from improper installation, running low on (or without) oil or coolant, or ignoring overheating
  • Racing, off-road abuse, commercial overload, or modifications/disassembly of the part
  • Normal wear items and consumables (gaskets, seals, filters, fluids) included with an assembly

Honest summary: if we messed up, we make it right — happily. If the part got destroyed by something done to it, that one’s not on us. Claims are simple: message us with your order number and what happened; photos or a shop diagnosis help us say yes faster.

Fast, free shipping (lower 48 + DC)

Every eligible order to the lower 48 states and Washington, DC ships free. Order a standard-shipping part by 11 AM Pacific Time on a business day and it ships that same day (Monday–Friday, excluding Federal & USPS/FedEx/UPS holidays — freight items are the exception, covered below). Eligible returns ship free too — you’re never out shipping money for a part that didn’t work out.

Freight items (engines, transmissions, and other big iron) ship within 2 business days of purchase — booking a freight carrier takes a beat. If a freight part needs to come back, we cover the return freight and coordinate the pickup — the guarantee applies the same as any other part.

A note on engines: first-start smoke is normal

We treat every engine assembly with fogging oil to protect the cylinders and internals in storage and transit. A little smoke on the first start-up is normal and expected — it should clear within about 30 minutes of normal running as the fogging oil burns off. If it doesn’t, talk to us.

Why buy direct instead of a marketplace?

You’ll find these same parts on the big marketplaces — but here they’re priced lower, because direct sales don’t carry marketplace fees. Same part, same testing, same guarantee, better price. Buying direct just makes sense.
