Noted flaw(s) — photographed above: ASE MASTER MECHANIC TEST NOTES & FLAWS NOTED DURING TESTING: (1 - RUNNING ENGINE TEST NOTES): Engine runs good. It starts right up, idle is nice and smooth, and wide open throttle snap sounds good. The oil quality looks good and there is no smoke from tail pipes (just steam due to cold weather). There are no unusual noise from operating engine; (2 - POST REMOVAL INSPECTION NOTES): Engine overall looks good. I did note a little oil weep around rear main seal, valve cover and green oil pressure sensor. It will need a new serpentine belt (noted a little cracking). Turbo looks surprisingly good (these almost always have a little stress cracks in housing, but this one I couldn't see any). Waste gate feels good & axial/radial play both feel minimal. Refer to attached video for operation of engine during my testing.

In-car test: ENGINE RUNS GREAT. DON’T SEE ANY LEAKS AT ALL. SUSPECT MIGHT HAVE A BAD DIAPHRAM IN TURBO, WILL INSPECT OUT OF CAR. AS ALWAYS PENDING A GOOD COMPRESSION TEST AND PHYSICAL CHECK THIS WILL BE A KEEP.

Out-of-car inspection: OVER ALL LOOKS GOOD. NOTED A LITTLE OIL WEEP AROUND REAR MAIN SEAL, VALVE COVER AND GREEN OIL PRESSURE SENSOR. DIAPHRAM ON TURBO CHECKED OUT OK. WILL NEED A NEW SERPENTINE BELT NOTED LITTLE CRACKING IN IT. TURBO LOOKS SUPRISINGLY GOOD (THESE ALMOST ALWAYS HAVE LITTLE STRESS CRACKS IN HOUSING BUT THIS ONE I COULDNT SEE ANY) WASTE GATE FEELS GOOD. AXIAL AND RADIAL PLAY ON CHRA FEELS MINIMAL.
