In-car test: EGR VALVE IS PLUGGED SO WILL PROBABLY REMOVE THAT . ENGINE RUNS GREAT CONSIDERING IT HAS AN UN METERED AIR LEAK FROM A HOLE IN FRONT INTERCOOLER. WILL INSPECT FURTHER ON REMOVAL BUT GIVIEN A GOOD COMPRESSION TEST THIS ENGINE IS A KEEPER.
Out-of-car inspection: IM ONLY INTERNAL NOTING THE EGR BECAUSE IT ONLY STUMBLED ONCE AND THAT MAY HAVE BEEN RELATED TO BIG HOLE IN THE INTERCOOLER.. IT MAY NEED CLEANING BUT IM NOT 100 PERCENT SURE ON THAT. OUT OF CAR THE ENGINE LOOKS GREAT, WEEPING A LITTLE OIL AROUND VALVE COVERS AND AROUND PCV INLET NEAR TURBO (COMMON).
